- Except for the Ktbl1, P1 ribbing around neck, leg openings and belly, every stitch is knit. Again, I eliminated something that is not my favorite knitting activity. Purling!
- The part of the sweater knit back and forth is a nice garter stitch stripe
- The part of the sweater knit in the round is in stockinette stitch
- Finished dog sweater measures: Length: 17", Chest 18", From top of neck to leg openings: 5", space between legs 2"

- The ribbing is graduated. In the middle, it's 6 X 6, then 5 X 5, then 4 X 4, all the way down to 1 X 1.
- The ribbing really pulls this sweater in, making it look very skinny. The finished garment is extremely stretchy, allowing dogs with a 14" through 18" chest measurement to wear it comfortably.
